PrashnaOutcomesFive Sutras

The Five Sutras each return one of three values: Jeeva (life/yes/positive), Roga (delay/disease/mixed), or Mrityu (death/no/blocked). Together they paint the answer.

Jeeva — yes

  • Movable signs in samanya often yield Jeeva.
  • Lagna lord in Kendra strongly supports Jeeva.
  • Vargottama in Amsaka is a clear Jeeva signal.
  • Jupiter aspect frequently produces Jeeva.

Roga — delay/mixed

  • Mixed sign types (one movable, one fixed) often produce Roga.
  • Lagna lord weak but not in dusthana = Roga.
  • Disease implication when health is the question.
  • Suggests delay rather than denial.

Mrityu — no/denial

  • Fixed sign with malefic Lagna lord.
  • Lagna lord combust or in 8th, 12th.
  • Multiple Mrityu sutras indicate strong denial.
  • Use as warning to delay action, not to despair.
